Modern Tree House

In collaboration with clients based on the opposite coast, R&L was entrusted with the design of a newly constructed residence nestled in the exclusive Carrigan Canyon area of Salt Lake City. The home’s architecture drew inspiration from the minimalist principles and timeless philosophy of Frank Lloyd Wright, with a profound respect for its mountainous surroundings. R&L was engaged to thoughtfully honor this vision, ensuring a seamless integration of the home into its natural setting.

Staying true to the design ethos, R&L curated in collaboration with the clients every detail, selecting new fixtures and finishes that brought the outdoors in, while preserving the essence of minimalism. The interiors were enhanced with carefully chosen furnishings that reflected the same philosophy—subtle, serene, and harmonious with the surrounding landscape. This approach ensures a home that feels both modern and timeless, creating a peaceful retreat in the heart of the mountains.
